This has been one of the bigger Gielinor Gains updates in a while. A lot changed across the product: Market Updates are now live, saved items moved from Bookmarks to Favorites, the main table has quicker actions, and the Premium and About pages are much clearer.
The common thread is simple: make the site easier to understand, easier to navigate, and faster to act on when you are looking at Grand Exchange opportunities.
Market Updates
Market Updates are now part of the site. These pages connect Old School RuneScape game updates to the items traders may want to inspect, so an update is not just a news post sitting off to the side.
- The Market Updates page gives OSRS update posts a dedicated home inside Gielinor Gains.
- Update pages can call out related items when game changes may affect the market.
- Those item links make it easier to move from update news into item research without starting from a blank search.
- The goal is to make OSRS update posts more useful for traders who want to understand what changed and what may be worth watching.
Favorites and faster table actions
Favorites are now the free, lightweight way to save items. The star button is available from the market table and Planner item cards, and signed-in Favorites sync to your account while still supporting quick local use on one device.
- Star buttons save items as Favorites from the main table and Planner surfaces.
- The market table can filter down to favorited items once you have saved at least one.
- Planner has a Favorites category so saved items can be reviewed with current market data while building a plan.
- The main table also has a quicker Add to Planner action, so eligible users can move an item into a plan without leaving the table.
Bookmarks moved to Favorites
Bookmarks started as a way to save trade snapshots: an item, a buy target, a sell target, and enough context to remember the trade later. Over time, the feature was used much more like a simple saved-items list. Favorites now covers that job more directly from the main market table.
- Signed-in users with legacy Bookmarks have those item IDs carried into Favorites automatically when Favorites sync runs.
- Favorites use current market data, so saved items stay useful after an old price snapshot would have gone stale.
- The old Bookmark save action is retired. Use the star button on the market table when you want a simple saved-item list.
- For managing active offers, target sell prices, capital, and slots, Planner is the better home for that workflow.
Planner access for active Bookmark users
Active legacy Bookmark users received lifetime Planner access as part of this move. That was intentional: if someone was actually using Bookmarks to manage trades, Planner is the better experience for that job, and those users should not have to buy it just because the old Bookmark workflow changed.
This grant is Planner-only. It does not change Dump Alerts access, subscription status, or any existing purchase history. If you think your account should have been included in the active Bookmark user list, use the Help page to contact support and include the email you use to sign in.
Premium and About page cleanup
The Premium page was rebuilt to make the paid options easier to understand. Planner, Dump Alerts, monthly and annual subscriptions, trials, and the annual Planner benefit should now be clearer before anyone decides to pay.
The About page also got a major clarity pass. It now explains the site in a more direct way: what the table is for, what Timing means, how offer and quantity estimates should be used, and where Planner and Dump Alerts fit.
Navigation and consistency
There was a broad polish pass across the interface. The user dropdown navigation is cleaner, update links are easier to find, and product language is more consistent across pages. Small wording and layout differences add up, especially when the site is trying to explain market data, paid access, saved items, and update context in one place.
What to expect
Favorites are the path forward for saved items, Market Updates are the place to connect game news to item research, and Planner remains the place to build an active Grand Exchange session from current market data.
If something about the Bookmark-to-Favorites move looks wrong on your account, use the Help page to contact support. Include the email you use to sign in so I can check the legacy bookmark and Planner entitlement state directly.
