How this OSRS flipping tool works

Flipping means buying an item on the Grand Exchange and selling it for more. The Market ranks today’s flips by the profit you can expect after the 2% GE tax. Prices come from the OSRS Wiki and update about every 5 minutes. It’s free, and you don’t need an account.

Chance
How often trades like this one made money within 4 hours.
Offers
The buy and sell prices to enter at the Grand Exchange.
Profit
The profit you can expect after tax. “If it all sells” is the total when every item sells.
Quantity
How many to buy. It stays within the GE buy limit and what’s really selling at that price, and never goes over 3M GP in one item.

Flipping questions

How do you flip in OSRS?

Put in a buy offer at the lower price. When it fills, put in a sell offer at the higher price. What’s left after the 2% tax is your profit. The Offers column shows both prices for each item, and Quantity shows how many to buy.

What should I flip right now?

Start near the top of the list. The Market sorts flips by the profit you can expect, and Chance shows how often trades like each one made money. Items that trade a lot fill faster. Prices move, so check them in game before you buy.

Is flipping still worth it with the 2% tax?

Yes, but small gaps between buy and sell no longer pay. In our tests on a month of real prices, Trader averaged about 134K GP profit every 4 hours with a 10M budget, and about 147K with 50M or 200M. Results change with the market, and trades can lose GP.

How does the GE tax work?

The Grand Exchange keeps 2% of the sell price, up to 5M GP per item. Items that sell for less than 50 GP are not taxed. Every profit on this page already takes the tax off.

When does the GE buy limit reset?

Four hours after your first buy of that item. Each item has its own limit, and the Quantity column already stays within it.

Is this flipping tool free?

Yes. The Market, search and Favorites are free, and you don’t need to sign in. Favorites stay in your browser until you sign in, then they follow your account.

Is flipping allowed?

Yes. Flipping is ordinary Grand Exchange trading. Gielinor Gains never logs in to your account or plays for you. You decide what to trade and place every offer yourself.
