Gielinor Gains Is Free Now, With a Whole New Look

Free Trader and Dump Alerts for every player, and a whole new design with a light mode.

What’s free

Trader and Dump Alerts used to cost money. Now they’re free. You just need an account, and that’s free too.

  • The Market was always free. It shows items worth flipping: the price to buy at, the price to sell at and the likely profit. You don’t need an account.
  • Trader picks items for you to flip. It says what to buy, what to sell and at what price. With the Exchange Logger plugin in RuneLite, it sees when your offers fill, so you don’t have to tell it. You can pick your own items too.
  • Dump Alerts email you when an item’s price suddenly drops. Some prices bounce back, so a drop can be a chance to buy low. Turn them on from your Account page.

What I promise:

  • No ads, ever.
  • I don’t sell your data.
  • No paid version with better picks. Everyone gets the same Trader.

A whole new look

I also redesigned the whole site. Every page looks new.

  • Light mode. The site used to be dark only. Tap the sun or moon at the top of the page to switch. On a phone, open the menu first.
  • Want it to follow your phone or computer? Scroll to the bottom of any page and choose Match device.

Try it here

  • Easier to read, with a new font and simpler words. Pages fit your phone, too.
  • Track record. The About page now shows how the picks have done lately.

Classic Planner is gone

Used Classic Planner? Trader does the same job now. Your saved plan is still there, and old Classic Planner links open Trader.

No RuneLite? Choose “Continue with manual tracking” in Trader. Then you tell Trader about each offer yourself.

Why I made it free

Money was never the point. Gielinor Gains never made more than it costs to run, and I paid the rest myself. I’d rather have many more players use it than make a little money from it.

There’s one more reason. I want to build a free RuneLite plugin for Gielinor Gains. RuneLite doesn’t accept plugins that need a paid service, so the site had to be free first.

Trader also costs much less to run than it used to, so I can keep paying for it myself. If that ever changes, I’ll tell you here first.

If you’ve paid

I’ve always looked after players who paid. I’ve refunded a lot of money over time, and I’m doing it again now.

Paying each month? I’ve ended your subscription, so you won’t be charged again. I’m also refunding this month’s payment in full. It can take up to two weeks to reach your card. You don’t need to do anything. I’ll email you once I’ve sent it, and that email will never ask for card details.

Paid for a year? You already got back the part of the year you hadn’t used. Your bank statement shows how much. I’ve ended your subscription now, so you won’t be charged again.

Paid once? You keep everything, with nothing to do.

Thank you. You helped keep Gielinor Gains going. If anything about a payment looks wrong, use the form on the Refund Policy page, and I’ll fix it.
